Right of withdrawal

In accordance with European Union consumer legislation, the right of withdrawal does not apply to products with a limited shelf life.

Due to their limited shelf life, our cookies and chocolate truffles are excluded from the 14-day right of withdrawal and cannot be returned or refunded once delivered.

The 14-day right of withdrawal applies only to Chocolate Crumbs – L’écorce products, provided that the product is unused, unopened, in its original packaging, and in its original condition.

You have the right to cancel your order up to 14 days after the day of receipt without giving a reason. You have another 14 days after cancellation to return your product. You will then be credited for the full order amount, including shipping costs. Only the return costs from your home to the store are for your own account. These costs are approximately 7.25 per package; for the exact rates, please consult the website of your carrier.

If you exercise your right of withdrawal, the product will be returned to the entrepreneur with all delivered accessories and—if reasonably possible—in its original condition and packaging. Should the product be damaged or the packaging more damaged than necessary to sell the product, we may pass this depreciation of the product on to you. So please treat the product with care and make sure it is properly packaged when returning it.

To exercise this right, please contact us at info@chococrumbs.com. We will then refund the order amount due within 14 days of notification of your return, provided the product has already been received back in good order.

Conditions for returns

To be eligible for a return, should the product be damaged or the packaging damaged more than necessary to try the product, we may pass this depreciation of the product on to you. So please treat the product with care and make sure it is properly packaged when you return it.

Items returned without prior approval will not be accepted.

To request a return, please contact us at info@chococrumbs.com within 14 days of delivery.

Or, sign in to your customer account using the email address you used to place the order. Once you’re signed in, click Request a return and complete the form.

If your return is accepted, you will receive instructions on how and where to send your package.

Return shipping costs are at your own expense and are approximately €7.25 per package, depending on the carrier.

Depreciation

Should the product be damaged or the packaging more damaged than necessary to try the product, we may pass on this depreciation of the product to you. So please treat the product with care and make sure it is properly packaged when you return it.

Depreciation may apply if the product is damaged, incomplete, or excessively used upon return.

Depreciation may also apply when there's damage due to careless handling or missing parts of the products.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if your item is damaged, defective, or incorrect, so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Perishable goods (including cookies and chocolate truffles)

• Custom or personalized products

• Products excluded from the right of withdrawal for hygiene or food-safety reasons

Refunds

We will notify you once we have received and inspected your return and inform you whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, you will be automatically refunded to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process the refund.

European Union 14-day cooling-off period

If your order is shipped within the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, unless the product is excluded by law, such as products with a limited shelf life.

This cooling-off period applies only to eligible products, including Chocolate Crumbs – L’écorce, and does not apply to cookies or chocolate truffles.
